| Serbia and Norway almost neutralised the problem of false asylum seekers |

Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said yesterday after meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre that the Norwegian and Serbian authorities have almost neutralised the problem of false asylum seekers in Norway.Dacic said that Norway is one of the main partners of the Serbian Interior Ministry, noting that several million euros in donations from the Government of Norway was used for strengthening the capacity of the Interior Ministry.
We are currently working on the improvement of our forensic capacity, said the Deputy Prime Minister and noted that a few weeks ago arrived another donation from Norway for the formation of a regional forensics centre in Uzice.
Dacic said that very important are also investments and joint projects of Norway and Serbia aimed at strengthening the capacity of the criminal police, internal controls, as well as those done in cooperation with the OSCE mission in Serbia related to police education system.
From this point, we will continue cooperation with the Norwegian state authorities and the Norwegian police, he said.
Speaking about cooperation between the two police services, Dacic said that there was a series of operational actions of the police that resulted in the arrest of a number of persons originating from our region who were engaged in robberies in Norway.
