Norwegian boy kidnapped in Spain

A Spanish newspaper reported the kidnapping of a Norwegian boy on Tuesday from the Norwegian School of Albir in Spain. According to police, the ten years old boy allegedly was abducted from the playground at 0915 in the morning. Guardia Civil is currently monitoring airports, ferries and border crossings in the country. Based on experience, the Spanish newspaper believes close family members are behind the kidnapping.Rector of the Costa Blanca Unvervisning in Albir, Lill Strømnes, does not want to comment on the matter. She confirmed the kidnapping might stem from a custody dispute.

Foreign Ministry Communication Advisor, Kjetil Elsebutangen told ABC News that the Ministry is investigating and Spanish police are pursuing the case.
