|Angola and Norway to cooperate in sea resources preservation|

|The Environment Ministries of Angola and Norway stressed the intention of cooperating in the preservation of sea resources, aiming for the protection of species against oil spills. This intention was stressed this Thursday in Luanda by the Environment Ministers of Angola and Norway, Maria de Fátima Jardim and Erik Solheim, respectively, during a meeting, aimed to discuss cooperation reinforcement on environment and staff training of the sector.At the end of the meeting, Fátima Jardim said that Norway wants to cooperate with Angola in the elaboration of a strategic plan to preserve sea resources, based on the drafting a contingency programme that will establish the outlined goals.|
According to her, Norway will be the right partner for Angola on this subject, besides other actions, this European country will support training and capacity building of Angolan experts for the desired strategies.
She said that Norway will also help the initiative of preserving Maiombe forest.
The visit, being paid by the Norway minister, opened a new period in the cooperation established between both countries.
Norway delegation, integrating also the minister of Trade and Industry, Trond Giske, is in Angola to establish contacts with the Angolan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as with the entities of the agriculture sector, private investment and other areas.
