| Qatar PM meets Norwegian king |

King Harald V of Norway met the Qatar Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani at the Royal Palace here yesterday. During the meeting, the Qatar Prime Minister conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, wishing the Norwegian people more progress and prosperity.King Harald V reciprocated the greetings of the Emir and the Heir Apparent, wishing the Qatari people further progress and welfare.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means of enhancing them.
The meeting was attended by the Qatari official delegation accompanying the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
King Harald V hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
Later the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister visited the headquarters of the Norwegian Parliament and conferred with the Norwegian Parliament President, Terje Anderson.
During a tour of the parliament headquarters Terje Anderson briefed the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on the history of the establishment of the parliament.
The Prime Minister also held talks with Norway’s Minister of Petroleum and Energy Ola Borten Moe.
