| Armed robbery at Vinderen |

Police were holding a suspect Friday morning after an armed robber held up a grocery store in Oslo's fashionable Vinderen neighborhood earlier in the day. The robber hit the ICA grocery store at Vinderen just after 7am, and threatened two store employees with a pistol. He then taped them together before fleeing on foot.Police said it remained unclear what if anything he stole from the store.
The suspect was captured less than an hour later, not far from the store, after police mounted a massive search in the area. His description matched that given by the store employees. |
