Norwegian defence technology company Simrad Optronics ASA wins training system contract from US Naval Surface War Center

Norwegian defence technology company Simrad Optronics ASA said on Monday (20 August) that its subsidiary Vinghog AS has secured a framework contract for a training system from the US Naval Surface War Center. The framework contract covers the development and delivery of a training system for the MK-47 grenade launcher, and has a maximum value of USD11.47m, of which Simrad Optronics has already received a first firm order valued at USD544,000.  Simrad Optronics, headquartered in Oslo,
